Terms of Service

These Terms are written in plain language. They are not legal advice. We plan to have them reviewed by a lawyer as prize pools grow.

1. Who we are

Form8 ("Form8", "we", "us") is an onchain fantasy football game for the English Premier League, built on the Solana blockchain and available at https://www.form8.football. Form8 is an independent project (a legal entity will be registered). Contact: support@form8.football.

By creating an account, connecting a wallet, or entering a gameweek, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Risk Disclosure and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Form8.

2. Eligibility

You may use Form8 only if all of the following are true:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or 21 years old where your local law requires it (including Ukraine).
  • You are not located in, resident in, or a citizen of a Restricted Jurisdiction (Section 3).
  • You are legally allowed to take part in paid fantasy sports / skill contests where you are.
  • You are not on any sanctions list and not acting for someone who is.

When you register, you confirm this by ticking the attestation checkbox. We rely on your confirmation. If it is false, we may close your account and withhold entries and prizes to the extent permitted by law.

3. Restricted Jurisdictions

You may not use Form8 if you are located in, or a resident of:

  • the United Kingdom;
  • the United States (including its territories);
  • any country or region where paid fantasy sports or skill-based contests with cash prizes are prohibited or require a licence we do not hold;
  • sanctioned jurisdictions: Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine (including Crimea and the other regions covered by applicable sanctions).

We may update this list at any time. Using a VPN or other tools to hide your location is not allowed.

4. Your account and wallet

  • You can log in with email or passkey (an embedded wallet provided by Turnkey) or with an external Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Jupiter).
  • You are responsible for your login credentials, devices and wallet. We cannot recover lost keys, reverse transactions, or access funds in external wallets.
  • One person, one account. Multiple accounts are not allowed (Section 9).
  • Keep your nickname respectful. We may change or remove nicknames that are offensive, misleading or impersonate others.

5. How contests work

  • Each gameweek of the Premier League is a separate contest.
  • You build a 14-player squad: 11 starters + 3 bench, maximum 3 players from one club, formation 4-3-3 or 3-4-3, and one captain whose points count x2.
  • Squads must be submitted and paid for before the gameweek deadline shown in the app. After the deadline squads are locked.
  • Points are calculated from public Fantasy Premier League data feeds and match ratings, according to the scoring rules in the FAQ.
  • Rankings are final once results are published for the gameweek, subject to Section 8.

6. Entry, fees and prizes

  • Entry costs 5 USDC per gameweek: 4 USDC goes to the prize pool and 1 USDC is the platform fee. We may lower the fee as more users join; any change applies only to future gameweeks and will be shown before you pay.
  • Entry is paid onchain to the Form8 smart contract on Solana. Solana network fees are sponsored by us.
  • The prize pool is split among the top places according to the prize table published in the FAQ. When fewer than 10 managers enter, a different table applies (for example, with 3 managers: 50% / 30% / 20%).
  • Winners claim prizes manually onchain by pressing "Claim" in the app. Unclaimed prizes remain claimable in the smart contract; we are not responsible if you do not claim.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable except as described in Section 7.
  • You are solely responsible for any taxes on your winnings (see Risk Disclosure).

7. Ties, cancellations and voided gameweeks

  • Ties: if managers finish with equal points, the prize amounts for the tied places are added together and split equally between them, unless the FAQ describes a different tie-break rule.
  • Postponed matches: players whose match is postponed or cancelled score 0 for that gameweek unless the FAQ says otherwise.
  • Voided gameweek: we may void a gameweek if, for example, a large part of the fixtures is cancelled, a data feed failure makes fair scoring impossible, or a critical smart contract bug occurs. If a gameweek is voided, entries (including the platform fee) are made refundable to the wallet that paid, through the smart contract or by another onchain method we announce.
  • If too few managers enter for a meaningful contest, we may cancel that gameweek and make entries refundable in the same way.

8. Data errors

Scoring depends on third-party public data. Feeds may be late, wrong, changed after the fact, or unavailable. We will act in good faith to publish correct results, and we may correct scores or rankings before prizes become claimable. Once prizes are claimable onchain, results are final, except in cases of obvious error or fraud where we will try to fix the issue fairly.

9. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • create or control more than one account (multi-accounting), or share accounts;
  • collude with other managers, or use accounts of others;
  • use bots, scripts or automated tools to gain an unfair advantage;
  • exploit bugs, attack or interfere with the site, the smart contract or our infrastructure (please report bugs to us instead);
  • use Form8 for money laundering, fraud or any illegal purpose;
  • bypass eligibility or location restrictions (including with a VPN);
  • abuse the invite program (for example, inviting your own accounts).

If we reasonably believe you broke these rules, we may disqualify entries, withhold prizes and XP, and suspend or close your account.

10. Season XP and invites

  • Season XP are non-monetary progress points. They have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be exchanged or sold, and are not a token or cryptocurrency.
  • Invite program: when someone joins with your invite, you both receive +50 XP. We may change, limit or end the XP and invite programs at any time.
  • Form8 has no token. Anyone offering a "Form8 token" is not us.

11. Intellectual property and no affiliation

  • The Form8 name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
  • Form8 is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any football club. Club and player names are used only to describe real-world football events.

12. Disclaimers

Form8 is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service, the smart contract or data feeds will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Nothing on Form8 is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Read the Risk Disclosure before playing.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by blockchain networks, wallets, third-party providers, data feeds, or your own mistakes (such as losing access to your wallet);
  • our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the entry fees you paid to Form8 in the 3 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date and version will change, and for material changes we will ask you to accept the new version before your next entry. Changes do not affect gameweeks already entered.

15. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Form8 at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue Form8, we will make funds for open gameweeks claimable or refundable. Prizes already won and claimable remain in the smart contract.

16. Governing law and disputes

Please try to resolve any dispute with us directly first — email support@form8.football; most issues can be solved quickly. Formal governing law and venue will be confirmed once Form8 is incorporated. Until then, nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have.
