Form8 is a skill-based fantasy football game that uses real money (USDC) on the Solana blockchain. Please read these risks before you play.

Only play with money you can afford to lose.

1. Loss of entry fees

Most managers do not win a prize in a given gameweek. Every entry (5 USDC) can be lost entirely. Past results do not predict future results.

2. Smart contract risk

Entries and prizes are held by a Solana smart contract (Anchor program; the program ID is published in the FAQ). Smart contracts can contain bugs or be exploited, which could lock or lose funds. We test carefully, but we cannot guarantee the contract is error-free. The contract has not necessarily been independently audited.

3. USDC / stablecoin risk

Entries and prizes are in USDC, a stablecoin issued by a third party (Circle). USDC can lose its peg to the US dollar, be frozen by its issuer, or be affected by regulatory action. We have no control over this.

4. Wallet and key custody

• With an external wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Jupiter) you alone control your keys. If you lose your seed phrase or get phished, your funds are gone — we cannot recover them.
• With email/passkey login, your wallet is provided by Turnkey. Access depends on your email, passkey and devices, and on Turnkey's service being available.
• Never share your seed phrase or private key. Form8 will never ask for it.

5. Blockchain risk

Solana can experience congestion, outages, failed transactions or delays. This could stop you from entering before a deadline or claiming a prize on time. Blockchain transactions are irreversible — sending funds to a wrong address cannot be undone. Network fees are currently sponsored by us, but this may change.

6. Data feed risk

Scoring uses public Fantasy Premier League data feeds and match ratings from third parties. They can be late, wrong, changed, or unavailable. This can delay results, change rankings, or lead to a voided gameweek (see Terms).

7. Service risk

Form8 is run by a small team (a solo founder). The website, RPC (Helius), storage (Upstash), hosting or other providers may go down. We may change or discontinue the service (see Terms for what happens to open gameweeks).

8. Regulatory risk

Laws on fantasy sports, skill games, gambling and crypto differ by country and can change quickly. Form8 may become unavailable where you live, and you are responsible for checking that playing is legal for you. Form8 is not available in Restricted Jurisdictions listed in the Terms.

9. Taxes

Prizes may be taxable where you live. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes. We do not provide tax advice or tax forms.

10. No investment advice. No token.

Nothing on Form8 is investment or financial advice. Form8 has no token, and Season XP has no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.

11. Play responsibly

Set a budget and stick to it. Don't chase losses. If playing stops being fun, take a break. If you feel you may have a gambling problem, seek help from a local support service.
